Hydrosols (aka. Floral waters/Hydrolats)
Useful for general first aid use to cleanse scrapes, bumps, stings, sore or fly irritated eyes, itching etc. before treatment. Also for diluting gel bases to make body washes and gel sprays etc. or for adding to shampoos and other home-made preparations .

I can also supply the more expensive oils such as Neroli, Yarrow and Rose ready diluted in a base oil of your choice at either 2%, 3% or 5% dilution depending on the animal it is to be used with which is a cost effective way of building up a collection of useful oils.

The following products are made-up by me to individual order so that they retain the freshness and dynamic energy of each pure natural ingredient.
Aloe Vera and Essential oil Body wash...£7.50
A cooling and soothing Aloe Vera based body wash with added essential oils that can be used as a final rinse when washing off after work to cool, tone and help maintain healthy skin. It does not need to be rinsed off after use. This product is particularly useful at shows and when traveling as the oils have also been chosen to help animals cope with changes such as competition, long journeys etc. and can help maintain a relaxed atmosphere around both animals and people.

A combination of essential oils in Aloe Vera suitable for both animals and human use.

A combination of essential oils which can be wiped or sprayed onto horse and rider. Helps create a tranquil space around both of you on those long summer hacks and discourages extra "unwanted passengers" coming along for the ride!.

Moisture-release Hoof gel...£7.50
A hoof gel made with made with all the benefits of pure essential oils and Carrot oil in a moisture-gel base to help maintain strong, flexible, healthy hooves. Parched, moisture starved hooves may suffer from problems such as splitting and cracking in summer time or when standing in on dry bedding for prolonged periods in winter. Healthy hoof growth is related to diet but management and external moisture balance can also play a part in problem feet. This gel can help to provide moisture and essential oils when required.
Equally suitable for shod or unshod horses, horses recovering from foot problems and those with generally poor quality horn and for horses who are on dry bedding for long periods of time or those who have to be turned out in sand schools which are particularly abrasive and drying to the horn. Unlike classic "hoof oils", it will not interfere with the natural balance of the hoof by creating a greasy barrier that locks moisture in or out and has an appealing herbal smell making it pleasant to use.
The gel can be applied either just around the coronet band for an economical daily maintenance dressing, or to the whole hoof and the sole for a more intensive effect and is totally safe for humans to handle.
Can be used in conjunction with Carrot Hoof Oil Dressing.

Carrot Hoof Oil Treatment...£6.50
A natural, intensive Hoof Oil dressing, made with pure essential oils in a Carrot oil base which is highly nourishing and (along with good diet, management and farriery) can help to maintain strong, healthy horn growth, especially in those horses who don't have the best of feet. A little of this hoof dressing goes a long way and it is sufficient to paint it around the coronet only once a day, rather than over the whole hoof. Unlike classic "hoof oils", it will not interfere with the natural moisture balance of the hoof by creating a greasy barrier that locks moisture out and has an appealing herbal smell. If your horse has particularly dry, brittle hooves or is on dry bedding for long periods of time then you may find this product is particularly effective when used alongside the Moisture-Release Hoof gel.

No medicinal properties are claimed for any of these items but they can help in the maintenance of good health. While I am happy to discuss any problems you may be experiencing with your animals, I am not allowed by law to either offer a diagnosis or prescribe any treatments and may only give general information and teach you how to offer oils to your own animals. If you are in any doubt about the health of your animals you must always consult your vet in the first instance.
If you or the animals you intend to use the oils with are either trying to conceive, pregnant or lactating or taking prescribed or over the counter medicines or suffer from any allergies, sensitivities or on-going health problems then it is essential that you contact your vet or doctor as appropriate for advise before using essential oils and take advice on dilution rates and application methods from a qualified therapist.

other than by Paypal in which case there is a 50p surcharge per order under £10 and £1.00 for payments of over £10. Alternatively, if you would like to collect your order in person to save postage, please phone in your order and I will be happy to arrange a collection time. I will always make every effort to get your order to you quickly if you need items urgently, although some items may occasionally be out of stock and established customers may, in some circumstances, pay on receipt of goods. Normal delivery is approximately 10 days from receipt of order.
